WE ARE NOTHING BUT PROUD AND HONORED. GO COACH ADAM!!!
OGP Kings Mission Statement:
The Kings Basketball Academy is a year-round youth basketball program aimed at giving the players of Ventura County the proper fundamentals, skills, and confidence needed to succeed on the court and more importantly off it as well. Our vision is to instruct all players on what it takes mentally, physically, and fundamentally to make it to the next level (youth to middle school, middle school to high school, and hopefully high school to the NCAA at all levels I, II, III Naia I Naia II).
I strongly believe under the coaching of the Kings Basketball Academy, each child/player will grow not only as a player, but as a person as well. Our goal is to equip all Kings a formula that was used by many before us that hard-work, commitment, team basketball, unity, and most of all unselfishness has led to many athletic scholarships and a great amount of academic scholarships as well. We pride on academics first and I have random progress report check-ins and all players must maintain a suitable grade point average (GPA) or suspensions and consequences (Sprints, Push-ups, Conditioning etc.) are given.
The Kings Basketball Academy is a highly disciplined program, enforcing respect, dedication, and playing as hard as humanly possible. We are not a typical AAU program which recruits, selects the best players, and only has one objective: winning. We teach, improve, and build life-long friendships installing a very positive environment mixed with very serious coaching. I strongly believe the environment we provide not only leads to better decision making on and off the court, but also the most important aspect of basketball itself...HAVING FUN!
